Thomas Dewhurst

Dr Dewhurst is a consultant psychiatrist and medical psychotherapist who trained on the Maudsley Training Programme, with BPC accreditation in psychodynamic psychotherapy via the APPPS.

Dr Dewhurst works at the Lewisham Personality Disorder Service in South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. He has particular interest in evidence-based treatments for people with personality disorder and complex emotional needs, delivering Transference Focused Psychotherapy and supervising the Service User Network in his service. He also has interest in group therapies for Young Adults.

He has a kite marked accreditation in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy. He is also an accredited reflective practice leader with the Balint Society.
