Clinical Lead x 2

Wessex Counselling & Psychotherapy is a local charity based in Frome that has two functions. We run a BACP accredited psychodynamic counselling service to people in Frome, Bath, Bristol and the surrounding areas as well as providing various training courses for counsellors and professional development workshops.

We are looking to recruit two Clinical Leads to oversee and develop our clinical service. We currently provide around 120 adult counselling sessions and 10 young adult counselling sessions a week.

Clinical Lead – Internal - £39000 pro rata
10 hours a week working from our offices in Frome and from home.

This role will be responsible for all clients from the start of their counselling to ending. In addition, you will liaise with the Clinical Lead - external to support our counsellors, psychotherapists and supervisors in delivering this service.

Clinical Lead – External - £39000 pro rata
10 hours a week working from our office in Frome and from home.

This role will be responsible for promoting the service and for all prospective clients from initial contact to ongoing counselling being set up. In addition, you will liaise with the Clinical Lead - Internal to support our counsellors, psychotherapists Intake workers and supervisors in delivering this service.

You would need to be able to work flexibly with the other clinical lead to provide clinical cover throughout the week. You will be an independent practitioner registered with either UKCP or BCP, or accredited by BACP. Ideally with experience of safeguarding and managing clinical risk for adults and young people in counselling.
