Description

**Members’ Event. You must log in to your bpf account to register.**

What does the course cover: the course consists of six clinical seminars in which participants are invited to present a case where they would like to increase the frequency of sessions; the seminar will look at the reasons why this poses difficulties and consider how such difficulties might be worked with. The aim is to help participants to work towards seeing patients at a greater frequency, and to consider whether frequency and depth are inextricably connected.

Who the course is for: All qualified bpf PPA and BJAA members intending to work more intensively with patients. For PPA members considering applying for the PPA senior membership course in the future, this course provides a good preparation for you.

Dates: Saturdays 2.30 – 4pm (20th, 27th January, 3rd, 24th February, and 2nd, 9th March 2024) (in person or on Zoom)

Fee: £150 for six seminars.

Venue: Seminar leader’s consulting room in Hampstead which is near the underground station and simultaneously on Zoom

Access: The building has limited access. However, the course is being run simultaneously on zoom for those who may have mobility issues and/or who live outside of London.

Course leader: Jan Harvie-Clark is a psychoanalyst, a member of the British Psychoanalytic Association and a Training Analyst, as well as a Training Therapist and Supervisor for the bpf.
