This innovative series of lectures is organised by the Tavistock Trauma Service and is designed to reflect the clinical approach of the work whilst emphasising an adapted psychoanalytic approach with multi-modality and trauma-informed care.
Presented by a range of speakers, our Spring 2023 talks will cover neurobiology, attachment theory and different psychoanalytic perspectives on trauma, including historical child sexual abuse.
January 10: Valerie Sinason PHD, child psychotherapist and adult psychoanalyst will explore historical child sexual abuse and the health service.
February 2: Dr Philip Stokoe will look at the principles and functions of organisations an the impacts of trauma on those structures.
March 10: Annica Lilja Ljung will consider the central building blocks in the work with complex trauma.
All lectures will be recorded and will be delivered via Zoom.
