Are you looking for new ways to refresh your knowledge and practice in working with trauma?
Our innovative external lecture series on trauma is designed to reflect the clinical approach of the Tavistock Trauma Service, emphasising an adapted psychoanalytic approach with multi-modality and trauma-informed care.
Hosted by Dr Jo Stubley, Consultant Medical Psychotherapist and psychoanalyst who leads the Tavistock Trauma Service, join our Autumn 2023 virtual lectures to hear expert speakers, based in the UK and abroad – share innovative ideas, cutting-edge research, and global perspectives on trauma. All lectures are followed by a Q&A – where you’ll have the chance to raise your questions live.
Our first lecture in the series, Dr. Ruth A. Lanius’ talk will focus on how we can work clinically to help traumatised individuals ‘feel alive’ and safe without engaging in traumatic re-enactments and/or reckless behaviour. This will link with neurobiological changes in the default mode network.
You can also book this lecture as part of a cost-saving bundle of the series for £75.
