The Tavistock external lectures on trauma offer three lectures per series per term, bringing external speakers with expertise in trauma from a diverse range of perspectives and modalities.
The autumn 2022 series includes James Davies, anthropologist, psychotherapist and author of “Sedated” talking about neoliberalism, big pharma and the medicalisation of distress in October.
November 3rd will be psychedelics and psychoanalysis by Liam (Nadav) Modlin, psychology and psychotherapy psychedelic lead for Kings.
December 1st will have Jo Stubley and her team describe aspects of the Tavistock Trauma Service, linked to the recent publication of Complex Trauma: the Tavistock Model edited by Stubley and Young.
