A year long experiential group exploring dreams, Jungian ideas and creativity
Would you like to explore Jungian ideas and connect with your natural creativity in a supportive setting? Using personal dreams, the collective dreams of fairy tales and active imagination you can relate to your own individual, personal Red Book.
This group will be of interest to:
Anyone who is interested in learning how to use dreams, fairytales and a symbolic lens to get to know themselves.
How do symbols enrich our lives?
Each session invites creative exploration through selected reading, dreams and exercise in active imagination. Together we will reconnect with deeper, often unconscious sources of meaning. Each month we will use a different fairy tale to explore archetypal experiences related to a universal theme. Reading materials will be provided in advance. Sessions begin with guided dream work on the theme
for that month followed by dream reflections, engaging with symbols and a creative, experiential activity. You will receive guidance about how to work with your own dreams and use their rich symbolism to orient you in your life.

Practical Details

Cost: £950, £650 for trainees for the full year (10 Saturdays), payable in advance
CPD: 30 hours (certificate provided on completion)
Facilitators
Susan Tyler is a Jungian Analyst and supervisor in private practice in Brighton and London. She is co-founder of the London Analysis, Psychotherapy and Counselling (LAPC) clinic. Initially trained at WPF and later at the SAP, she is particularly interested in addiction and has published in the British Journal of Psychotherapy and Journal of Analytical Psychology. She has taught widely on psychotherapy trainings.
Elena Kantor is a Jungian Analyst in private practice in London. Originally trained as a social psychologist, she later trained in psychotherapy at WPF and as an analyst at the SAP. Elena has worked extensively with children and adults, specialising in PTSD and Play therapy. Originally from Moscow, she has lived and practised in the UK for 20 years.
