This is the 23rd International Conference of the ISPS (the International Society for the Psychological and Social Approaches to the Psychoses). The ISPS was founded by psychoanalysts back in the 1950s and retains a strong psychoanalytic core of members.

Indeed this conference will, in part, play tribute to the public sector work of the late Yrö Alanen, the Finnish psychoanalyst and psychiatrist as well as many other themes
