Dear Friends and Colleagues.

I am sending details of some forthcoming trainings I will be facilitating, which will offer opportunities to explore the topic of caring for a relative struggling in the early stages of a mental health crisis from Transcultural perspectives.
Based on my own experiences – I have been prompted by many questions and can identify with how, due to custom or religious views, in some cultures, mental health can be a taboo subject and frequently exchanges about it are silenced. Consequently, to encourage change, I felt moved to invite those working with marginalised groups to come together with carers from similar groups to open up a creative dialogue.
