This course is delivered by an experienced tutor online in a virtual classroom where you will benefit from interactive sessions with your tutor and your fellow students.

Course Overview
This course is for people who want to improve their understanding of counselling skills and explore if further training is right for them.
It is a 20 hour course delivered in 2 hour sessions over 10 weeks.
The course is open to all adults aged 18 and over who have little or no prior knowledge or experience of counselling and want a taste of counselling concepts and methods.
This course covers a range of topics will introduce you to the skills required in counselling and the theory that underpins the psychodynamic way of working.

Course Dates
This is a 10 week online course taking place on Thursdays from 18:30 – 20:30

25/4/24, 2/5/24, 9/5/24, 16/5/24, 23/5/24
1 week break for half term
6/6/24, 13/6/24, 20/6/24, 27/6/24, 4/7/24

The course has a minimum 80% attendance requirement to receive a Certificate of Attendance. We understand absences are sometimes unavoidable but can be disruptive to the group.

Refunds of course fees will only be given in the following circumstances:
• If WCP cancels a course for any reason
• At the discretion of the Pre Clinical Course Lead
WCP does not refund course fees because a student/trainee decides to stop attending.
