Description
This four term course is divided into two parts: term 1 is ten one hour Zoom-based seminars as an introduction to the process and requirements of Infant Observation. This includes: finding a family to observe, the process of observation, note taking, and safeguarding.
Terms 2 – 4 are for the observations. These take place one per week for an hour in the family’s home. The observer writes up full notes and then participates in a group supervision with up to four other course members.
The course is offered twice each year: January and October. The fee in £1,950 for the four terms (fee subject to confirmation).
The course is designed as either as stand-alone or as part of the full clinical training at AGIP.
