Description

Wimbledon Guild Counselling Training presents a very special event In Conversation with Pauline Andrew – Director of Deep Release and Managing Director of Barnabas Counselling Training. Her lively, interactive, vividly illustrated and often humorous training style has proved popular around the UK and in Europe on a wide range of topics relating to creative counselling, including being part of the BACP continuing professional development programmes and the ACC national conferences.

Pauline will be in conversation with Nikki Howes Counselling Training Coordinator at Wimbledon Guild, Integrative counsellor and addiction specialist.

About Pauline Andrew:

Pauline teaches Diplomas in Counselling and Supervision, and the Level 5 Certificate course in Integrating Creative Interventions in Counselling (all CPCAB). She has a small counselling and supervision practice in Essex and her previous careers include being a translator, a conference administrator, a tour operator and an IT trainer.

Now practising for over 30 years, Pauline has a deep passion for working creatively and has a thriving, colourful YouTube channel with videos showing a variety of different creative interventions. This proved to be valuable experience when Covid-19 led to all the Deep Release courses going online via Zoom in 2020. Her determination to provide top quality, dynamic, interactive training has led to a dramatic increase in business which has been ‘a rollercoaster adventure’!

Pauline is author of “A Creative Guide to Working with the Inner Child”, “A Creative Guide to Working with Blocked Anger” and “A Creative Guide to Working with Nesting Dolls”, all books for counsellors and psychotherapists. She is also creator and cartoonist of the hugely popular Roles Played in Families, Core Needs in Families and Roles Played in Anger cards for use in counselling.

She is married to Chris and they share three grown up children and five grandchildren.
