BPA Summer Study Day
Different Psychoanalytic Paradigms: How different are they?
Saturday 22nd June 2024

Hybrid event – online & in-person

Tickets In person £85/£60 (concessions)
Online: £80

We will explore two different psychoanalytic paradigms, the ‘Kleinian’ and the ‘Independent’ considering how these different theoretical approaches lead to differences in the consulting room as exemplified in a case study. Starting with the development of the different orientations we will consider whether pluralism really is possible in contemporary psychoanalytic thinking and practice.
