Description

Enter the inner world of a brilliant and controversial psychoanalyst. Who was the real Masud Khan?

As one of the most brilliant but also, highly controversial analysts, Masud Khan’s legacy in psychoanalysis is long lasting. Join us online with an international audience of analysts, practitioners and academics to observe, discuss and reflect on Diary of a Fallen Psychoanalyst: The Work Books of Masud Khan 1967 – 1972an edited collection of Khan’s diary with observations and reflections on his own life, the world of psychoanalysis, his evolving theoretical formulations, Western culture, and the turbulent social and political developments of the time.

Be there to meet the editors, Linda Hopkins, author of False Self, and Steven Kuchuck, author of The Relational Revolution, of this thoughtfully assembled presentation of Masud Khan’s diaries, as they share their own insights and observations into Khan’s career in psychoanalysis with Brett Kahr, at this very special zoom launch event. Our panel will be in conversation for around 45mins before we open up to questions from attendees. We heartily encourage everyone to consider purchasing the book before you attend.
