Description
A day conference to explore psychoanalytic concepts as applied in work with children in the public sector (NHS).
Three experienced clinicians will give talks and be in discussion with experts in child analysis, followed by a plenary with the audience.
- First Presentation | Parent Infant Work – Mary Short, Child Psychiatrist with discussant; Margaret Rustin
- Second Presentation | Therapeutic Milieu at Mildred Creak Unit – Jon Goldin, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Neil Austin, Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist
- Third Presentation | Working with Parents of Disturbed Adolescents – Nina Wessels, Westminster Centre for Young People.
The plenary will be chaired by Kate Pugh and Anuradha Menon.
