Psychodynamic Child and Adolescent Therapist / Psychotherapist
Our ever-expanding Bridge Psychotherapy Service at the Bridge Foundation in Bristol is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced and supportive therapist.
The Bridge Foundation is a Bristol based charity, which has been delivering a range of clinical and training services relating to the needs of children, young people, families and adults for over 30 years.
The work is challenging, varied and interesting. You will be offering assessments, brief interventions or longer term psychoanalytic / psychodynamic psychotherapy for children, parents and families. Most of these cases will be funded by the individual / family attending but some will have been commissioned by Social Services, the Adoption Support Fund or by other commissioners.
This is a permanent post for 4 days per week and you will be expected to offer 20 clinical sessions per week, with at least 6 of them being offered at after school times. There is a possibility for some of the sessions to be delivered remotely at present and potentially permanently; this will be reviewed as the COVID situation changes and as we assess the ongoing need for remote therapy sessions.
You will join a psychoanalytic supervision group at The Bridge Foundation as well as receiving individual supervision and attending staff meetings etc. This is included in the 4 days.
Start date: September 2021
Salary: £33,762.74 (pro rata)
Application is by application form in the pack on our website, together with CV – further details can also be found on our website.
The closing date for applications is Monday 12th July at 12pm.
Interviews will take place on Wednesday 4th August and can take place remotely if you are not able to come to Bristol on that day.
Please note that previous applicants need not apply.
