Programme Director – Mentalisation- Based Treatment (MBT) for Adults (National Programme)

The Centre is looking to appoint a Programme Director for Mentalisation-Based Treatment (national programme) who will play an essential role in driving forward the national programme of work.

Role: Programme Director – Mentalisation- Based Treatment (MBT) for Adults (National Programme)
Location: The Centre has moved to a hybrid model of working. Staff are currently working 20% of their working hours onsite. From January 2022, staff will be required to work onsite for up to 40% of their working hours, either at the Anna Freud Centre in King’s Cross, London (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH) or our Northern Hub in Manchester (Huckletree, The Express Building, 9 Great Ancoats Street, Manchester M4 5AD). Flexible working will be considered for this role.
Start date: Early 2022
Salary: £65,000 to £70,000 per annum FTE, depending on experience, plus 6% contributory pension scheme

Role description
Mentalisation-Based Treatment (MBT) is one of Centre’s most popular training programmes, training over 3,000 people last year. MBT is an evidence-based treatment, has been shown to be highly effective in treating Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and as a result has gained national and international attention.
