Our mission is to make professional counselling affordable and available to all, and we are looking for a thoughtful, well-organised senior practitioner to lead our dedicated and ambitious team as Head of Counselling.

Role description:
Psychoanalytic or Psychodynamic Psychotherapist

The Counselling Centre has provided affordable counselling to clients throughout West Kent and Sussex for over 30 years. Alongside our BACP-accredited counselling service, we are a centre of excellence for training, supporting the next generation of counsellors through our Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling.

We are looking for someone who can:
• act as the custodian of our clinical excellence, ensuring our clients receive
attentive, ethical and effective therapy
• sustain and promote the psychodynamic principles which underpin all that we do
• collaborate with a highly experienced team of supervisors
• join a passionate management team to deliver continued growth and
development of the counselling service

Working c. 14 hours per week, with the option for flexible working, the role is supported by 2 clinical administrators.
