Various roles and hours available (45 weeks per year)

We are currently recruiting to our counselling team for new services across multiple clinic locations. We expect to be delivering the following new sessions:

Trowbridge – Monday, x 5 Adult sessions, between 12pm and 18.00pm
Bath – Monday, x 3 Adult sessions, daytime
Bath – Wednesday, x 3 Children’s and Young People sessions, evenings
Yeovil – Wednesday, x 4 Adult’s or Children’s and Young People sessions, from 13.30pm
Chippenham – Friday, x 3 Adult’s or Children’s and Young People sessions, times to be confirmed
Ad-hoc – x 4 Adult’s and Children’s and Young People sessions

We are looking for an experienced counsellor to provide 50-minute, face-to-face counselling sessions for adults, children and young people for up to sixteen sessions per client. We’d ideally like each new counsellor to be able to commit to two or more of the new clinics on offer.

The hourly rate is £25.50 for attended client counselling hours, £12.75 for unattended client counselling hours where more than 48 hours’ notice is given. If you deliver any Children’s sessions, then you will be able to claim an additional 15 minutes. Therefore, you can claim one and a quarter hours for each child session.

Fluency in a second language would be an advantage, so that we can continue to expand our offering to non-English speaking clients.

Experience in being able to counsel couples would also be an advantage.
You will be expected to use our electronic database and email to maintain regular communication with our Head Office, based in Frome. You will be joining a large team of remote and office-based counsellors in a well-established charity. We offer regular CPD and meetings to ensure that everyone feels they are part of the organisation.
