Children and Young People’s Therapist
A Children and Young People’s Therapist will provide trauma-informed, therapy to children, young people (up to 18) and work systemically with their families and other carers.

Salary: £31,500 pro rata – 30 hours per week (0.8 pro rata)
At The Green House, our aim is to help children and young people affected by sexual abuse and rape to recover from their trauma and help improve their mental health, well-being and resilience through the provision of specialist professional therapy accessible to all.
A Children and Young People’s Therapist will provide trauma-informed, therapy to children, young people (up to 18) and work systemically with their families and other carers. The Trauma-Focused Therapist will be a part of a team consisting of therapists, family support workers, survivor voice advocates and administration staff and be responsible to the Clinical Lead. To provide trauma-informed therapies (up to 12 sessions) focused on Trauma-Informed CBT and/or EMDR to children and young people impacted by sexual abuse. To work within The Green House’s agreed therapeutic framework and in accordance with agreed policy and procedures. To be passionate and proactive in the delivery of services. Positively contribute to the team and effective running of the Charity. To be ambassador for The Green House and role model our values. The Green House is undergoing a period a growth within the Children and Young People’s service. This role is critical to offering a more diverse range of therapies available to children and young people, to sit alongside our existing creative-arts therapy model. The role will be to Lead on the development of TF-CBT and/or EMDR services for the Green House (not currently offered as part of service).
