Supervisor at Raphael, The Jewish Counselling Service
Location: Raphael, The Jewish Counselling Service, London

Salary: £65 per 1½ hour session or £87 for 2 hours (length of supervision sessions depends on the number of clients held within the group).

Raphael is seeking to appoint an experienced supervisor to be responsible for the provision of fortnightly supervision to a group of four counsellors who currently meet at 13.00 on a Monday. 
Supervision takes place in the consulting room of the supervisor which needs to be in the North West London area. Candidates must be Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, Integrative or Existential in orientation, BACP, BCP or UKCP registered, have more than five years post qualification experience and considerable supervisory experience, particularly in enabling counsellors to explore and work with unconscious processes, and preferably have a recognised supervision qualification. They also need to be able to supervise work with couples as well as with individuals.

An External Examiner is required for Gloucestershire Counselling Service (GCS) in Stroud. GCS offers a psychodynamic training pathway which includes Foundation Courses and a Diploma in Psychodynamic Counselling. The Diploma is BPC accredited.

The role of the external examiner is to monitor training standards and to offer objective advice to GCS. Attendance at the end of year Training Committee is required and there will be occasional reviews with the Head of Training.

Currently accepting applications for honorary placements in City and Hackney Adult Specialist Psychotherapy Service, East London NHS Foundation Trust. 
This is an invaluable opportunity for trainee/qualified psychodynamic/ analytic psychotherapists to gain individual, couple or group experience through working in a tier two NHS Adult psychotherapy outpatient service in a very busy central London hospital. Ideally applicants will come with a core profession and/or substantial clinical experience. Consideration however will be given to those in their first year of psychotherapy training; those with limited clinical experience are expected to be in at least in their third/final year of an individual psychodynamic/analytic training.

Clinical Supervisors

Based: London 

Clinical Supervisors Required for Tavistock Intercultural Training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy (D59i)
You will need to be a BPC-registered adult psychoanalytic psychotherapist or psychoanalyst with at least two years post-qualification experience and an interest in race, culture and difference. Experience of working in the NHS is desirable.
The course currently runs on a Wednesday during the academic calendar. You will have at least two individual fortnightly supervisees and up to four personal tutees. Some supervisors see trainees on days other than Wednesdays.
Pay is standard Visiting Lecturer rate (currently £50.00ph).

Honorary Placement: British Red Cross/Tavistock Trauma Service
Based: London 

The Tavistock Trauma Service offers a clinical service to British Red Cross Asylum Seeker and Refugee beneficiaries.
Adult psychodynamic and psychoanalytic therapists are offered the opportunity for an honorary placement on site in this service for at least 18 months. The service offers a flexible response which may include on-going therapeutic work, liaison and networking with other services and / or onwards referral to other voluntary and statutory agencies. The commitment is for half a day on Tuesdays in Islington and attendance fortnightly on a Thursday morning at the Tavistock for supervision.
Skills such as working flexibly within a psychodynamic framework, using interpreters, linking with other agencies and liaison with BRC caseworkers will be part of the learning experience.
