About Rita Inak-Hale
I trained as a mental health nurse and have 35 years of experience in the NHS working psychotherapeutically with adults, children, adolescents and their families. From the start of my nursing career I embarked on psychotherapy training leading to qualification as an adult psychodynamic psychotherapist from Exeter University in 2011. My clinical interests and experience is diverse including an interest in Freudian, Jungian and systemic perspectives, developmental attachment theories, the application of the arts in therapy and education; politics and organisational dynamics, faith and religion. My scope of practice is diverse including eating disorders, sexual abuse, trauma, highly sensitive persons, autistic spectrum condition, anxiety, obsessions, depression, self-harm/suicidal ideation, personality & relationship difficulties, emotional instability, poor sense of self, spiritual distress, psychosomatic symptoms, gender identity, sexuality, dissociative states, couple/family work, older persons and older teenagers.
