Sophie Crooke

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist, specifically trained to work with adolescents, children, and families. My clinical experience spans a variety of settings—including schools, CAMHS, and family therapy teams— where I have supported young people and their families through complex emotional challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, bereavement, and family conflict.

Alongside a strong grounding in psychodynamic theory, I bring experience in systemic practice, allowing me to consider difficulties within the broader context of family and relational dynamics. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and empathic, with a focus on building trusting relationships and creating a space where young people can explore their inner world safely and at their own pace.
