Christina Tanner

I’m a psychodynamic psychotherapist with training from the Tavistock & Portman and over a decade of clinical experience in London and New York. I work with adults seeking deeper understanding and lasting change: those who may appear successful on the surface but feel unfulfilled, anxious, or disconnected inside.
In our work together, we will explore how early experiences and unconscious dynamics shape current relationships and self-beliefs. My background across cultures and clinical settings allows me to bring sensitivity to different perspectives and life transitions, helping clients find greater clarity, self-compassion, and connection.

Prior to opening my private practice in London, I worked at Highbury Counselling Centre (HCC) in Finsbury Park. In addition to my UK qualification, I am a licensed clinical social worker in New York State and have worked in a variety of mental health settings in New York City, including in private practice for 8 years.
