Georgia Hamilton
Child, Young Person and Family Psychodynamic Psychotherapist
About Georgia Hamilton
I am an accredited Psychodynamic Psychotherapist registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). My training is grounded in psychoanalytic theory, and I work from a psychodynamic perspective while adapting my approach to meet the individual needs of each client.
I offer a thoughtful and reflective space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and relationships in depth. Psychodynamic therapy focuses on understanding how past experiences and relational patterns may influence current difficulties, helping clients gain greater insight and emotional awareness.
I work with children, young people, and young adults up to the age of 25. My work often supports individuals experiencing anxiety, low mood, trauma, attachment difficulties, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, and life transitions.
Although my core training is in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, I also draw on elements of CBT, mindfulness, and DBT-informed techniques where appropriate to support individual needs.
I currently offer online therapy via secure video sessions, providing a flexible and accessible way to access support. I am fully insured and DBS checked.
If you think I may be able to support, please email and I will be in touch. I offer a free 15 minutes phone call to understand whether I would be able to offer therapy.
