Konstantinos Vlachakis Durrant

I am an experienced adult psychotherapist, who is trained to work with both individuals and couples and I have practised for over 10 years in various of clinical settings. I am registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also a member of the Tavistock Society for psychotherapists. I therefore abide by the relevant ethical codes and confidentiality guidelines. I have also completed a PhD in Psychoanalytic Studies, with my research focusing on the clinical understanding and therapeutic exploration of sexual fantasy.

In addition to my psychodynamic training, I have had additional training in integrative psychotherapy, and I am also a qualified systemic practitioner with experience of working with parents.

My experience to date includes working in psychosexual, forensic and young peoples services. Additionally, I have worked extensively with both individuals and couples within the LGBTQ+ communities and I have developed a specialist interest in working with couples that identify as LGBT+.

I offer short and longer-term psychotherapy for individuals and couples. My consulting rooms in central London are within easy walking distances of several London Underground stations.
