Paula Tome

I am a senior psychodynamic therapist working in person with children, young people and their families. I also see adults individually. I offer short-term and long-term therapy. I am currently based at the Brackenbury Natural Health Clinic with easy access from London W3, W4, W5, W6 & W12. I offer concession rates and work with the following UK insurers: Aviva and Vitality.

I have also worked in state educational primary and secondary settings and third sector addressing a wide range of issues, including behaviour, depression, anxiety, relationships, bereavement, neurodivergence, disordered eating, gender, trauma, self-harm and suicidality. Alongside my private practice I also work in a London-based mental health service.

I trained with the Tavistock and Portman and qualified with Birkbeck University of London (Msc). I am accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I am also a full member of the Birkbeck Counselling Association. I am insured and DBS checked and can provide sessions in English and Portuguese.
