Ciara Smyth

I am a UKCP accredited and registered Psychotherapist and Counsellor, with an MSc in Person-Centred and Experiential Psychotherapy and Counselling. I am a UKCP Accredited Supervisor, with significant experience supervising clinicians individually and in groups. I trained as a Forensic Psychodynamic Psychotherapist at the Portman Clinic and have significant experience and a special interest in working in forensic settings. I am the Deputy Clinical Director of the Therapeutic Community in HMP Dovegate, and provide group and individual therapy to male high risk offenders.

In addition to having a special interest working in a forensic setting, I have a special interest and have completed training in Eating Disorders. I trained with the National Centre for Eating Disorders in Esher, completing their Master Practitioner qualification.
