Jeremy Bishop

I have many years experience working with children, young people and their families in both therapeutic residential, local authority and health settings, as well as in the locall community. I currently work as a Child Psychotherapist in a NHS CAMHS team on the south coast and have extensive experience supporting children, young people and families who have or continue to suffer from the impact of developmental trauma including abuse and neglect. Much of my work is with children and young people who have neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD AMand Autisum. My work is devided between one-to-one psychodynamic psychotherapy and collaborative intervention alongside other agencies, but especially social care and education. I have lngstanding experience in individual therapeutic interventions with an emphasis on a broad psychodynamic approach centred on play and creative conversation. Other skills include therapy and therapeutic needs assessments, consultation to professional networks and parent work.
