Jeremy Bishop

Extensive experience working with children, young people and their families in both therapeutic residential, local authority and health settings. I currently work within a tier 3.5 specialist CAMHS team that straddles social care and health. I have extensive experience supporting children, young people and families who have or continue to suffer from the impact of developmental trauma including abuse and neglect. Much of my work is highly systemic with a strong emphasis on collaborative intervention alongside other agencies, but especially social care and educational settings. Longstanding experience in individual therapeutic interventions with an emphasis on a broad psychodynamic approach centred on play and creative conversation. Other skills include therapy and therapeutic needs assessments, consultation to professional networks and parent work.
