If you're reaching out and looking for for psychotherapy, I know that this might feel like daunting first step to take, whether you've had therapy before or not. Feeling a comfortable connection with a therapist is important, from which to be curious and explore, both about what brings you to psychotherapy and how we can think about this together in your therapy.

I currently work at Tavistock Consulting as a Senior Organisational Consultant and Executive Coach. Alongside this, I have a small private practice of psychotherapy and supervision clients and am based in Wimbledon and work in person and online. I have been a training therapist for therapists in training at Birkbeck and Roehampton.

I am experienced in working in a variety of sectors and with people with varied difficulties. I first qualified as a Music therapist in 1997 and worked both in the NHS and Education sector, with adults children and young people with learning disabilities, and in the mental health and forensic setting, including an in patient adolescent unit and Feltham YOI. Following qualifying from Birkbeck in 2003 with an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling /Psychotherapy I have worked primarily in the voluntary sector or in private practice. I also worked at the Harlesden Psychological Treatment Centre for several years at part of my training at Birkbeck.

Since 2008 I have worked in leadership roles in the voluntary sector, including SurvivorsUK for men who have experienced sexual violence, Wimbledon Guild, a large local charity In Merton and Respond, a national charity working with autistic people and people with learning disabilities who have experienced trauma.

I have also trained at the Tavistock and Portman, with an MA in Consulting and Leading in Organisations and am a qualified Executive Coach, holding EMCC Senior Practitioner Accreditation.
