Anne McKay

I am an psychoanalytic psychotherapist, trained at the Tavistock and Portman NHS trust in adult psychoanalytic psychotherapy (M1), forensic psychotherapy and psychoanalytic approaches to organisational dynamics.

I have over 25 years experience working for the NHS, and am currently Principal Adult Psychotherapist in Southwark service at the Maudsley Hospital. In previous posts I have worked as principal perinatal and parent-infant psychotherapist. I have experience as a senior clinical psychologist in adult and perinatal mental health in community mental health, psychiatry, forensic and primary care settings. In addition I have been involved in the practice, supervision and training in Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (16 or 26 sessions).

I have vacancies for patients seeking more frequent than once weekly therapy. I offer a sliding scale; with very low fee places for those seeking 4-5 weekly therapy.
