I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist. This kind of therapy pays attention to past experiences in order to throw light on what is happening in the present. The exploration of themes from the past often reveals how long-standing patterns of behaving or relating now run the show from behind the scenes, outside of conscious awareness. Becoming aware of your unconscious patterns opens the possibility of changing them. This leads to greater freedom, and the flexibility to make more fulfilling choices in the future.

Over the last decade I have worked with people from many different backgrounds. I value diversity and always seek to embody curiosity, respect, and acceptance when engaging with intersecting identities such as class, race, religion, sexuality, age, and disability. In particular, my practice is neurodiversity-affirming, and I have a special interest in late-diagnosed ADHD and Autism.
