The Pandemic and Beyond – how professionals can respond to babies’ needs and support parenting practice which enables infants to thrive
This online conference, organised by the Anna Freud Centre in collaboration with the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, will be an inspirational occasion relevant to practice and pertinent to our times. It will offer skills and knowledge that are directly applicable to work with parents and infants, address key learning from the Covid-19 pandemic and focus on the following issues:
• recognising, responding to and working with infants who are vulnerable
• establishing culturally sensitive practice
• supporting parents to be responsive, rather than reactive, under stress
• enhancing the parent infant relationship through online and face to face work
The conference celebrates the 10th year of International Training School for Infancy and Early Years (ITSIEY) collaboration. Speakers include top experts in the field of infant and perinatal mental health: Amanda Jones, Yvonne Osafo, Nicola Labuschagn and others.
