Wimbledon Guild Counselling Training
A 2 hour ZOOM CPD with Frances Walton – Please note events are live stream only, they are not recorded
Art Therapy offers individuals and groups an opportunity to explore and express aspects of oneself through the use of art materials, creating images and objects. In this talk Frances will be focusing on her group work with people who are affected by hoarding behaviour. She will be considering the issues that can be brought to therapy, how these can be thought about and expressed through the art making and sharing of experiences.
Frances will also be considering what she has learnt about our attachment and relationship to personal possessions.
Frances Walton has a degree in Fine art and Masters at Goldsmiths University and the Tavistock Clinic as an Art Psychotherapist and Psychodynamic and systemic group facilitator respectively. She has over 20 years’ experience working in the NHS and Charitable services in the fields of Mental health, Addiction and Learning disabilities.
