British Psychoanalytic Association
The British Psychoanalytic Association is a Component Society of the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), a worldwide body that safeguards professional and ethical practice. The BPA became a member in 2006 and commenced its training in 2009. We are one of two IPA Societies in the UK, and as such represent an exciting development for psychoanalysis in this country. The BPA not only provides a training in psychoanalysis but also provides scientific and clinical events as well as treatment opportunities through its Low Fee Service.
In the light of the CORONAVIRUS outbreak, life as we know it has become disturbingly unsettled and uncertain. Facing these unprecedented changes in isolation is causing understandable stress and anxiety.
The BPA is able to help and can offer up to 6 FREE sessions by telephone or video to anyone seeking mental health support during these challenging times.
